you can get replacement seal kits from repco, like 8 buck or something, pretty simple to rebuild the master cylinder, IF you have a handy hanes manual. It think there are two types of the cylinders tho, so two kits, so your really have to strip it down and take the old seals with you to repco.

the place thats doing it specialises in marble and shit aparently, thinking maybe a black with white marble or vice versa for engine bay, dont have much money to play with so ill see what the cunt says. sorta want to keep it origional stz so outside colour may be the go

fuck it, im gonna bump this up cos i can. it will be going in to get painted when i organise to get it to the shop, place that do it also do graphics and shit, so considering something random to make it unique, trying to decide on engine bay colour tho, white to match rest of car or black to save my lazy arse from cleaning it once a week? ideas and shit will be read and considered if not stupid

i was sorting out my engine bay today and used paint stripper, A real good one at that, was CRC brand and comes in a spray can, id say one can will do your whole engine bay, spray it on, wait like 2 mins, then i used a cheap chisel to peal the top paint layer off cos the paint was so old. then do another coat and wire brush, takes it right back to bare metal and gets into every nook and cranny. the fact its in a spray can makes it far easier than the paint on shit. i recomend it as a cheap option

most thermostats open at 84 degrees C, so i imagine the running temp should be not too far from that.

have you thaught about making your own? take the old ones out, take them all apart, get new foam to your liking and cut to shape you like making use of the springs and brackets and shit from the origional seat, cover it with watever and stick back in, would probly take a while / need some skills and patience to do it but would be pretty mean if you did a good job

depending on what the origional size/power output your standard engine, the new exhaust most probably wont be suited to your new engine. different diameter pipes suit different capacity cars: eg: the biggest diameter pipe for best performance results on my mini was 17/8 inch pipe. any bigger and id loose power, and smaller and it woulnt be getting rid of the gases fast enough so would slow the engine down. just a note cos if your upgrading to a 2L a exhaust suited to it will be a far better option than the standard exhaust even if it does cost more
