  1. No it was all stuff that was in Stock, mostly ex Japan, but still a surprising amount was available from Toyota Parts HQ in Thames
  2. No i'd say about 95% of it I have purchased from Ilam Toyota down here, but it's getting harder as more & more stuff is getting discontinued all the time.
  3. Nothing wrong with the roof i've got, plus the budget was already well & truly blown at the time. Still would like a new bonnet though, it's been discontinued a few years now, i'll keep hunting on Yahoo Auctions
  4. Glad you finally found one, cool car, only a few genuine facelift cars over here. Was a factory Auto too, not many of those around. You going to paint it? Back to factory Red/Black panda?
  5. That's true, but the bolts on Longchamps are only cosmetic. Unless you are planning on splitting the lips off them & getting wider outers.
  6. Why not just wire them to the switched 12V for the tail lights so they come on whenever your lights are on?
  7. I can do it at work Josh, i'm on nightshift next week so should have the time.
  8. Great project, the Notchback Celicas are such a under rated car. Certainly one of my favourites. Still seem to have a reasonable following in the USA, have a look on 'Japanese Nostalgic Car' forums, and also try eBay for a few good parts every now & then.
  9. Dragging this discussion thread back from the dead! FJ looks right at home in there, massive improvement over the CA in my opinion.
  10. No I don't, sold that car a few years back.
  11. I just used the larger stub shafts from the Celica head in the original T series housing & redrilled the flanges on the half shafts so they would bolt up (AA63 Carina with IRS T series)
  12. Al your spacers should be OK, this is from the LVVTA standard Wheel adaptor location 2.5(5) A wheel adaptor fitted to a low volume vehicle between the hub and wheel assembly to affect a change in the wheel stud pattern, must locate with a close tolerance fit using the centre spigot or tapered wheel nuts or bolts: ( a ) the adaptor against the hub assembly; and ( b ) the wheel assembly against the adaptor. Certainly wheel spacers (like slip on type) are required to locate on a center hub, but bolt on type (adaptors) are OK without them. That's the way I read it anyway.
  13. What exactly do you need seat rail wise? I had to buy & combine 4 drivers seats to get a good one for my Trueno, so I have a few spare bits. Your one is probably the same as JDM GT-Apex I guess? Has height adjustment for the seat base?
