  3. Bugger, you didnt get the flash as one. Had one before it got owned by some dumb cunt trying to drift. Has all electric is the back too - seat heaters & massagers, folding front seat, AV input, factory TV, etc etc. Looks good on the rims though
  4. Yeah, can't say I'm a huge fan of the hotties. Finding replacements could be difficult though. Holden stud pattern on the front, and ford on the rear. Would probably have to go for new, but dunno what. All in good time though.

  7. Hmmmmmmmm, I thinks I have a problem lol. But with this I now have to sell off some other stuff so maybe I'm not insane Newest money pit. 1947 Chevrolet Fleetmaster. Originally a Canadian military car, sporting Militia green and a 3.4L straight 6 under the hood, with 3 spd on the tree and daft things such as drum brakes all round, someone obviously got bored with it and had some money burning a hole in their back pocket. It's now sporting Pinstriping, scallops, Violet paint (as of about a year ago) and errrrrrm, a mildly warmed over 350 Chev V8 with this and that bolted on for a little bit more ..... 'response' shall we say? Front end now held up by various Holden bits and pieces, stopping with brakes from the same family. Putting the power to the ground is the task of a TH350 Auto with more goodies attached, through a rebuilt Ford 9 Inch with LSD with F100 truck drums. Interior is standard original Leather & Velour affair, wildcat steering wheel, couple of gauges and a shit stereo. Scum protection provided by a host of security measures, with further upgrades to come. Needs some work here and there, but is WOF'd and Reged so I can do in my own time. I'd like to overhaul the brakes too, as they have a habit of sticking. Oh, it's also got this thing - the previous owner called them - 'Cable Operated Header Dumps' I like that hehehehehe. Anyways, some useless pics.

Pity I never got round to putting mags on mine. Always wanted too. I had one of these, but mine was petrol. Few things to watch out for - they're god awful for rust in the front roof, rot out the slides etc, above the boot lid and mind way down the A pillars. Rear sunroof drive always breaks - suggest not using - cause you won't get it closed if it breaks in the open position as it's worm drive on both sides, not cable or anything. Dashboards are a pain in the ass, always causing problems with losing illumination, I have a spare one here with 117k on the clock if you need one. The diesels in these hate getting hot - intercooling is a good idea. Other thing to watch out for, in the back right hand side, about where its been crunched there's a computer. These leak all over the computer - cost me $600 last time And judging by the pics it's had a new bumper. Limiteds had reverse sonar in the rear bumper. On the centre console to the right of the stereo there is possibly a sw with an orange spot - thats what that is. Good luck.   10. Don't fancy ya chances on a venetian. I been looking for one for a year and found one TM, cost me an arm and a leg too. Trumpy looks good - friend of mine has a 2500TC and a 2500S, in 6 months, he did 2 manuals, an auto, an OD and 9 diffs Plus side is, diff head is piece of piss to change.
  11. Well, update. Wreck car is now in pieces. Motor came out today, along with gearbox and several other bits and pieces. Bought a new stereo for my red car, along with a venetian blind and some chrome splash guards. Blind was cheap - another Zephyr owner I know paid $1500 for his one!! Pics of them installed tomorrow hopefully. But TM pix......

  14. Steel = too heavy + wind resistence. I've allready got the drag from the drivers side oversized monsoon slowing me down enough... once it's over 60 it starts pulling to the right!! Just jokes. Proper steel ones I've seen have a gap just by the windscreen to prevent too much air getting caught up in it. My one rattles a bit actually in really bad cross winds cause the centre brackets that clip onto the gutter haven't got the bottom bolted piece, so it flexes enough to rattle :lol:
  15. Couple of things. A) The mesh visor doesn't really suit the car. Really needs a proper steel one. Extending or shortening visors is a cunt. A total utter bastard of a thing. I've seen it done with steel ones and they never ever look quite right, so I'm not sure how you would manage with a mesh one. My suggestion would be look for something thats closer fit and steel.
  16. My magnum had towing eyes.... had it towed on more than one occasion lol. Drivers side up under the valance - stupid place though - it bent the valance up good cause it was too high on the car.

  18. Lol I used to own one of these, but a magnum. 110k it was topped out, and it hated getting properly warmed up. Put a really cold thermostat in and all was cheery.

They not doing anything here, they have Michelin tyres on them, only good for skids though. 124 is RWD, unos FWD - filled out the guards bloody good actually lol. God I miss my uno - but I cant be assed spending a couple grand on fixing the motor It went so well.
  21. Yes and no. I actually sold it to my mate for cash plus my prefect. He then fried the number 2 main the following week. He said I can have it back for free, so its currently on hold in his garage lol
