    Tis true. dip the oil on a car that's been sitting for a very long time, and it'll be clean as. probably less likely with a fancy pants modern synthetic. Theyre designed to trap the impurities in the oil and lock them in.

  4. A top quality Chinese over range variator can work wonders too. I fitted a $9usd one to my dio and it went from 58 up to 72 flat out.

  6. If your cam has had the shit ground out of it, a taller lash cap helps to correct the rocker geometry. IE bring the rocker arm further up, so it's not sweeping past the point of good geometry especially with more lift from a big cam.

  15. Those 4.7's are actually a Merc engine that Chrysler borrowed. Ive seen what your work does. exactly seven years ago this coming friday I went to a demonstration out the back of ruapuna. there was cars being smashed up, and beer and pizza. it was legit as fuck. The lady Next door to me works there too. Once in a while (not for a while now though) I'll hear a Ram taking six goes to back up their driveway when they need to do a run to the dump, or drop off something large theyre bringing home. I wholeheartly approve of this swap. goes hard for what it is springs to mind..........
  16. I shouldnt have that issue. no way the engine number and the chassis number should be the same. Id say some fucktard wof guy has looked at the tag not hard enough, and entered the engine number, instead of the chassis number.
  17. I think I've asked this before, but who whom.do I write to get a fuck up in the. Motor registry corrected? The papers for one of my datto states that the chassis number is j15xxxxxxxx and the engine number is j15 [same as above] the body tag obviously has the correct chassis number on it. And sooner or later it will be prudent to get it rectifiedin the system.

  19. How much air are you going to force into it? What boost ratio is the efficiency island for this pump? Please run one bar plus. Any detonation is future sheepers problem
  20. Theres an H230 diff (230mm crown wheel) and an R230 There's a solid axle version of the R200 called a C200. So not impossible there's a solid version of the R230 too.
  21. Is the diff Salisbury or banjo? On that tag the HJ 52 would be the axle HJ is.probably a Hitachi diff (so it.would be banjo) and 52 would be 5.2:1 ratio
