Have you considered installing a belt driven inlet manifold to your engine? I'm told that side valve motors come alive from that one simple modification. /ling //not really, do it please.

Chrysler 318 inlet valves are 1.78", (which is very close to your 45mm) with a 3/8" diameter stem. (Guys tend to go down to 8mm stems when fitting bigger valves) Edit, The later 5.2 Magnum engines run an 8mm stem

I ran L20b valves (42mm head) in an A15 (37mm stock) I dont recall if the keeper grooves needed to be recut or not. But the ends were most definitely shortened. Yes that meant 5he gardening was lost. But i ran manley lash caps to prevent the tip of the valve from mushrooming over where the rocker arm tip worked against it. It worked well/I raped that engine long/hard and often. And there were no issues.

Have a custom diff yolk made with the correct PCD and an internal spline for the pinion. And make it the desired length? Might do all kinds of awful things to your pinion bearings though.

Probably get one put of the states. They're not as hard to fit as you might imagine.

Nah you just pop it off, stick the flywheel in the freezer, turn the ring gear over, file on the leading edge of the tooth for the pinion to.mesh with with a cut off disc. Warm the ring up and stick it on the other way around. Doubles the life of it
