I'd say the latter. I swapped a 32/36 Weber off my A15 for a 350cfm 2bbl, and the reduction in fuel consumption was out of this world.

Late last century I sold a wof'd, reg'd rx3 coupe running and driving with a 13b for $4850. Makes that nose cone seem kinda spendy........

The thing which leaps out at me about this build is, with the unaffordability of old rotor shit, that nose cone must have cost a kings ransom?

Some good friends of the father in law used to run a lodge on the island too. We were always "going to go there" but never got around to it. Then they onsold it and moved on. Maximum regrats on that one.

I've used VDO in the past. Anything modified needs a proper temperature guage. I got the shits with trying to guess how hot my engine was based on a (40 year old, built to a price) factory gauge with no numbers on it.

A Panasonic tough pad is probably not cheap, but they're durable. They're available with a keyboard attached too. The one I use to run RAMM was MOONBEAMS becauee of the built in GPS transceiver thingy
