I have another way but it's messy.
White spirits will slowly eat into the glue and release the screen but it can take a while and you have to por it in and slice in as much as possible with a blade, etc. It's how I've done it a few times, less pressure on or near the edges of the screen to risk that doomish crack that makes your stomach drop.
Kids had Landcrabs, Minis, Escorts and Cortinas when I was at school and they were already old. I had an ER185. My how times have changed.
I still can't afford a 32GT-R and some school-kid has one? Cripes.
Maybe check with Kelvin? Didn't he do something you could still run small rims on? Or was it that green/going to be grey E7 rolla? I forget. Someone on here has done it though. AP racing calipers on tiny vented discs, IIRC.
Before you take it for cert I would do a good look around the car to see how the "swap" was done. Whether it was just running gear or whether it was a cut and shut/chassis swap.
Depends how picky your WoF man is BUT the reality is that if it is as we fear, it's illegal. So, if you have a mischief in it, your insurance will fall back onto that and you'll be fucked.
I'm not sure if Mazdas of that era have data plates but I would assume they do. They easiest thing to check would be the data plate against factory details.
I don't know man, don't even know if it's 100% accurate. I think the plate tracks back to a 2.0 litre piston one, could be a plate swap, could be an engine swap with legit bits, could just be a mix up, I don't know, really.
He said he was "thinking of" that scheme. I just offered another colour option and a reason why. I wouldn't say it was changing his plans at all.
INFACT! Ignore the colour comparison to Chris' bike if you like. I now suggest blue as the alternate, so it matches your scrotum.
Is that OK guys? Can I suggest that?
Cheers for the Recip, Lowrents.
I got it finished off...
..it's now out of the shed and the coupe is back in with the Sunny where the sedan was in this photo.
Luminescent metallic/flaked as fuck green with a pearlescent white, pinstriping between the sections and atop the tank and rear guard.
Only saying to go green as Chris already has an orange and I reckon you want a point of difference.
