  1. yeah it should fill any any dimples aslong as theyr not huge.. it sprays on like a powder and the electric charge or whatever makes it cling to the metal, then it gets baked on,thats when it kinda melts down into a paint like finish.. thats what i think it is anyway...
  2. yeah just make sure you dont drop anything on them to start the chipping process.. although you can get touch up paint in the cans for powdercoat aswell.. not exactly the same, but itll work if you scratch them up.. we always used a guy called curly in papakura..... may have been papakura powdercoaters...he also does sandblasting and had a performance shop. that was about 6years ago when i was last there... but its not in the dirty south where ya need it ae... best advice is get the centres prepped as good as you can...
  3. i will be adding some padding to it mate... the best thing is though shes a shoehorn fit, which means i cant move around in it so less chance of getting hurt that way,the padding will just make it a bit better.. the simpson platinum sternum belts should be sweet too..
  4. i had one of these... had bad blowby.. i put a catch can with a filter on it...solved it(hid it) straight away..
  5. a few pics i snapped at work this morning..
  6. mate go have a yarn to gary hutchinson panelbeaters...he'll set you right.. i personally wouldnt powdercoat my rims...sure its hard wearing but as soon as its chipped it just keeps flaking off.. ive worked with the stuff on gates and bollards for years... if its a show car that doesnt get used much then sweet, itll last forever.

  20. got my new seat today...the boss picked it up from chch... fits me mint as,cant move in it...and its 20X lighter than my old one.. but i will put more padding in it.. also got my wrx brake booster etc that i got for $1... took the master cyl off it and blow my fukn mind it bolted straight into the mounts etc on the stocky!!! finally something worked easy.... now i just need to make the rod from the pedal to the cylinder...
  21. havent done bugger all since getting the engine in... just spending large on parts and selling all the bits i no longer need.. ordered a new HRP bellhousing for it $575 picked up a brand new 15" ultrashield seat so now i can get rid of the racetech.. got a p/s box coming trademe helped out finding 4 brand new shocks for $80 and 4 tyres for $40 picking up a set of spanky new white rims for $280 off a mate won a brake booster on trademe for $1....score.. still need: steering wheel timing gears and chain slip shaft for a driveshaft rear disc and caliper gauges brake lines wheel nuts belts shouldnt be too long before its up and running...just time and money...
