  2. yeah,greymouth..cheers.. oh the numbers are just taped on till i splash some paint over the gel coat.... bloody stoked its done and running..
  3. i complied a convertable merc that had a 17" spare, but it had a weird pirelli tyre that you inflate with a can,so its in the boot deflated and hope the can doesnt go bad... can you buy 17" steel hoops as blanks? or are you wanting some to widen?
  4. fireworks from alice springs reminds me of that indian guy off joe dirt.. batmo power= nice
  5. fukn awesome man... do not change the exterior at all....its the shit... and what an epic roady with the boyz
  6. yeah... i think i have solved the clutch drama...not physically but mentally... i yelled at it... no, in the pics below i didnt take into account what happens to the housing when the piston moves,it goes backwards, and there was nothing stopping it...so ill go and get some bolts for the input snout that are 10mm longer, and put nuts onto them to use as a spacer, this will stop the housing moving back... and the piston should push the bearing into the pressure plate....
  7. got the brakes done...pedal feels good.. all im needing now is the thermo fan set up and p/s belt tensioner a shifter fitted and sort out the bloody clutch throw out bearing again... the clutch issue has always bugged me... this is what they look like stripped..and the bottom pic is one complete...

    mazda g6 power

im picking one up tomorrow... sold the mu tonight.. may look at dropping in a MPV v6 later if the g6 cans out.. found out that the G6 is a mazda version of the mitsy G52.. factory they have puss bucket head castings, lots of weak points. however a good old kiwi cunt made new heads with more material in the weak points. so if anyone is gonna buy one,try to find one that has had the head replaced with a new one, like the one were getting... may also look into putting a blower or hairdryer on it...

    Gas shocks

where did you get them from? not all shocks do rebound by themselves, some do require the assistance of a spring.. ive bought 6 new shocks for the stockcar this year and only 1 pair actually extend back out, and very slowly.....
  12. O Hai... has anyone had much experiance with mazda g6 engines? theyr the 2600cc found in proceeds and b2600s.. from some info i found that was very fukn minimal it said the power was 88kw...240nm torque and 8.4 compression ratio. does this sound right? my thoughts is that it has low comp....? can it be turboed/supercharged?? ive been looking at buying a proceed cos theyr big enough for the whole family plus some hot swedish hitchikers, plus tools and towing the stocky....but not really common in Diesel power.... thoughts?
  13. ive used ADL (automotive drive line) in manakau in the past for rotorvans and ute conversions. I just measured from the end of the gearbox housing to the diff flange and they got er done.. just make sure the car is sitting where it should when its measured.. 2 days ago i got my stockcar driveshaft made up from a bighorn slip shaft i think it was the front driveshaft.. they just redrilled the flange and milled it down to fit in the diff flange. and changed the front flange over cos the UJ was fukt...cost me $50..
  14. was just gonna say 25:1 till i read blackys post...^^^
  15. do those but twins and facing each other so they look like theyr talking to each other... epic LOL
  16. fuk yeah, score +1 to me...LOL
  17. another possibility is a leaky carby... or gremlins.....
  18. my thoughts would be running abit too rich? or fuel filter...
  19. yup, heavy passenger... did you say grease them up?didnt see it... but yeah, love having the brake rollers at work.. used them to check the loaded weight of my trailer with the stockcar on it...
  20. free up ya caliper slides if its disc rear.. clean them up and rub some rubber grease on them so they slide in and out real nice.. this will solve it.... and brake inbalance should allow up to 30%. but if it spikes above that at all its a fail... thats with heavys anyway, not 100% sure on light private vehicles... we have a brake machine at work, my rears pulled in a 42% on the rears= fail, so i took it to a shop with no brake roller= pass.. have since freed up caliper slides.....mint
