  1. i wouldnt take any more than 3mm off that tbh... up to 3mm should be sweet...if you get it all even, then sandblast the ground off bits no one will notice really, then paint them..

  4. more memory cards by chance? i spent the last 4 weeks at waiouru army camp training and a mate in our section blew through about 8 memory cards..cant wait to see the pics....but so much easier than lugging a lappy with ya ae..
  5. just re-read it....do you want to remove all material basically 3mm from the green line outwards? if so, what will be left to hold the pad in place? as i take it that will remove the 2 pad fingers... or are you only wanting to removed about 3mm of material from that face?

  8. my one had a plastic mesh screen type filter that came out with the pipe that was unscrewed...if that makes sense...
  9. yeah, theyr a bitch alright.. i found that you poke the bottom in,then push the tank down and reach in a push on the filler neck/flange thing then it eventually pops into place.. brute force wins...

  13. id thought twin 40s, as theyr really common.. if you find it hard getting vacuum for the booster then you could always run a diesel alt, they have the vac pump system in them...... well i think they do anyway

  15. ive also become a fan of the auto.. our falcon has a bench seat and column auto...you can eat,sleep,root or dance while driving. its awesome... surely they can be too heavy?
  16. manual bits are getting hard to come by for the v6 holdens though... otherwise theyr a good choice. you can get it cammed, acl bits, even throw a 4 barrel on it if you mod the manifold, and get the loom etc rewired to suit... they go hard in that form....thats why stockcars use them.. nissan v6's are also ok....but then you may aswell go lexus v8..
  17. and found out today that a pic of my car is in the latest DTR (dirt track mag) fukn boohyah!!! racing this saturday at 4pm.. we have quad bikes coming over aswell, should be fun..
  18. should update seeing as i have done the first meeting... 9am went to load it onto the trailer and had fuel pissing all over my foot, fucking braided line was leaking/split, so i loaded it up anyway. got to the track and had my crew who were in transit pick up my line and shoot down to smith speed spares to get something to suit.. 30min later it was all go.. went through scruitineering, was the 2nd to last car to go through..luckily.. 1st race and i had drawn pole...fuk it all. lights green, 2nd, 3rd gear first corner, bash bang ping, spin crwaling down the track.. i got spat into another car, spun round and t boned, it resulted in both rear shocks snapping in half. sat it out on the infield.. race 1 : DNF got into the pits after being pushed, the chassis was digging into the ground and the diff head into my arsehole. found out that both springs were sitting on the track along with the top hats. one top hat made it back with the springs but the other is lost.. we managed to weld the shocks back together and assemble one shock.. i borrowed a top hat from someone and had it back together as the other stockies were heading out for race 2. i sent a mate to run up to hold the pit gate as i was putting my race digs on.. was fucking sweating my ring piece off and putting my gloves on at the same time fanging it to the pit gate... only just making it before they were gonna shut the gate.. its a good thing i was to start off the back... reached the grid and the light went green almost straight away.. made it through one and two..everyone was going everywhere, fuck it was mayhem.. i was attemptin a few hits here and there, car was handling preety sweet.. finished the race in 5th..not bad from last.. race 2 : 5th.. race 3 in the total random outcome i was to start off the back again which was awesome,itgave me a chance to get through the tangeled mess at the first bend.3rd to last lap or so and i was on a flyer but ended up abit wide going into turn one, looked to the left to see the local hitter eyeing me up, i knew i was going up the wall, i was so up there i shouldve had wings on, i slammed back down and carried on charging, but from then on there was a mad vibration somewhere,i finished the race and had no idea where i finished, just knowing that i finished. i had the trailer ready to be loaded before i went out. so i cruised in and trailered her up.and thats when i noticed the tyre was leaking, the rim was bent from the wall ride.. id ont care cos it a blast. turned out i finished 4th.. race 1:dnf race 2: 5th race 3: 4th overall finish for the day was 6th...yeah..!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
  19. wouldve been the rubber mounts yeah? put in new harder compound mounts. the crossmember will be fine...
  20. i would say a 4age would be the bizzo in a hunter. cheap, reliable, and not OTT. should be easy to do aswell. use a t50 box (if the hunters clutch system is hyd) or t50 box if its a cable type. the box should be able to fit the tunnel without too many dramas, you may have to massage it with a BFH. engine will piss in. room enough for a good radiator too.

  22. 454 big block chevy bored out 60thou with a blower and twin 750 double pumpers. do it! seriously look at the suspension when adding weight in the front you will most likely have to mod the firewall for any engine transplant, a diff upgrade should be done aswell due to the stock 5hp power figure
  23. dope, i wanna see 3" wider guards and running boards all round, 302w, channel the shit out of it, maybe even roof chop it 2".... or......... flip front, flamed out, lake pipes, modgies
  24. race 3 will be the one to prime ya camera for if i last till then.. i plan to come out swinging, not tap it and gap it...just hit it...
