  1. Help! Me and Three on the Tree need to rent a couple of Left hand drive pre 1985 cars for the shooting of the sinking of the Rainbow Warrior, preferably something French flavoured, but anything European is a -ok, we Want a Diplomatic car, Think 605 or CX or big Merc, RHD might be ok with one of these as I figure there are not that many choices, and two cars to represent Holland, basic Merc even a 190E LHD or something and another LHD car or two. Anyone have any leads? Thanks loads Ben
  2. Actually guys yes to all of those, I might have a role for Vallytank now, the FA 50 maybe Ed for sure definitely pre 85 jap stuff will work out fine. PM me some pics and your numbers and I'll put them on the books
  3. Absolutely sir PM me some pics and your phone number and I'll put you on the books, I'll try to get work around your area for you There is some work in Aucks coming up, but I'll see if its worth your while first. Cheers
  4. No they are all separately insured by the film company for an agreed value when they are on set, so no worries I've never heard of anyone using a car for film work requiring a cof, because the cars are being used for film work, on what is considered a closed road (providing they have a permit) , they don't really need wof or reg either, although its nice to have some.
  5. Yeah for sure man, can you pm me a couple of Pics, and I'll add it to the list.
  6. Photo me up anyway Tom and I'll put it on file anyway, and VK's arnt growing on trees these days, so there might be a part later. Rusty what do you have? XE's are great, and I actually might have a part for that.
  7. Actually maybe your van sir, can you take some photo's of it and the VK, the VK would have to be pretty new looking tho! Can definitely rent the van, but may have to reverse the low a bit!!! I love your 310 Flauski, I'd love to include it in the rental book! Hey Bronze, your right there's not a heap of money in it as of yet, but the better supplied we are, and the better service we can offer , the better the wages are, and we can probably take all the faffing out of it. Basicly we want to get photo's of everyones cars, get contact numbers and rent things as one whole group, we'll get better money for it, we'll be the organisers of it, and we should be able to offer a good well run service that puts money in your pockets for a bit of work, I earned $100 the other night for 5 hours of sitting about, and that sounds good to me
  8. Depending on how much your car is used really. We're starting a film rental Buisness, so hopefully this is the tip of the iceberg, the cars will have to be ready in three weeks for the first set of shots. How far away is you XB sir? is it running and driving?
  9. Hmm, I'm not liking that, the fact is I paid for that car with a live reg, and it wasn't cheap, so maybe we should go and see the gentleman in question! They never pick up on old cars at wof time tho, unless you are seriously unlucky, but still
  10. Yep she can do this, want to P.m me the details?
  11. Rego for a different morry???? Why do you think that? I bought the cars off a pretty well known motorbike restorer here in Auckland, so if its not the reg for the car we will be going back to see him!!!! Do all the numbers match up?
  12. Err I should probably point out, you dont need to repair cert this car, the rego is on hold, you just take it for a wof good sir.! Wof man goes, "ok!" and off you roll to collect your reg. Nice work by the way, glad to see it coming along.
  13. Hiya, My Missis is a photographer, I'll have a word with her tonight.

  17. There was a LOT of work in my trailer, it was as rough as a 40 year old Builders van can be I love John Deere Green, I don't know why I just do, My Mustang will probably go in next after revinning, we are also on "mates rates" as they are starting out and we give them fill'in work. Neals Holden is a lot worse than most people think, and my trailer cost 1/4 of the price of that (so we keep the price's in House Can't wait to see your car now its done!
  18. Yeah they are an ok Panelbeater, did you find them cheap? not up to show quality as of yet, but acceptable finish and cutting edge price for me. You'll have to come and check out my Escort Trailer, looks wayyyyyyy better now, as long as you like Green

  21. Mustang, has prince of Darkness'ed me out and has no lights at the mo!!!
  22. Its a GP100 not an AX 100 and the GP stands for Grand Prix it was developed as a class leading small bike with disc valve induction. It was developed for Europe and Japan, and called the GP because the Suzuki RG500 was Leading in 1978 With Barry Sheen at the helm, and the 100-125 Class was the Learner bike class, and considered extremely hot property at the time. The AX100 was a Chinese and Indian built commuter bike.
