  1. Yeah, 11am at The Peg, (Belfast Tavern) That work? Yeah? Nice
  2. He's not worried. We could do something if you like? He doesn't drink. Just had a chat to him tonight to confirm etc. P.s they have fully operational traction engines somewhere on the farm, I've never seen them. Perhaps if we're interested and he's around maybe we could have a gander?
  3. ^I use a bit of white house paint for that. Works way better than engine blue
  4. She's 7 going on 16. Mum's a bit undecided at the moment whether she's coming, "might be cold" or something. Ha! Are you sizing up cages?
  5. How about, same question, but in the boot floor? I'm going to guess, same answer.
  6. Also, please, It pains me to say this, but please no skids in the paddock I use this place a lot for other semi-related activities, and would not like to lose the privilege.
  7. Hey, Chill the fuck down! Sounds great man. I'll try talk the wife in to making some damper too so we don't go short, I love damper! So what about pot luck type thing, you bring the meat and we bring the other stuff? Need sour cream and cheese for the spuds. .22 would be ok, if it's ok with other people. Would have to be out in the riverbed (plenty of scrub out there) but not on the farm. I haven't seen much around there though, maybe we're a bit noisy. (mind you, saw 4 deer in the riverbed mid morning once) Also, +1 for anyone needing anything, I'm probably taking the big tent, so I'll have 2x spare. At this rate I will probably have to take the trailer, so I'll look all glamping spec. For shame!
  8. 0.6? I didn't, and I probably should. I think the problem is the settings are not very good. One setting is too low and I don't get very good penetration, the next setting up and it starts blowing holes. The wire speed setting also controls one of the power settings. It's very agricultural. It also has another problem where it pops the 20a garage fuse if I weld on a high setting almost every time the trigger is pulled. But I'm talking a setting for 5mm+ steel.
  9. Long time no post I get a little bit of time to work on this every so often, and this is pretty much all I've done. Stripped all the suspension right down, cleaned, painted, and started reassembling. While I had the rear brakes apart I found the auto adjuster hinge pins were too tight and stopping the adjuster from working. That would explain the brake pedal going to the floor. And I made some new brake lines, the old ones were horrid, and crushed in a couple of places. Will do the rest of the pipes after I chuck some paint in the engine bay, and underneath. Don't open the garage door while you've got stuff hanging from the track, idiot. Oh yeah, and I cut the rusty bits out of the right sill, sprayed lots of rust converter in the sill, and ran out of gas to patch it up, dang
  10. Fuck yeah front engined. Cut a ramp in the back and ride bikes straight in
  11. Plus, if they fall off, then fit spring washers
  12. They use them all over jap trucks. Chassis, axles, engine, cab, inside cab. Just flat ones not necessarily serrated ones. Probably not on turbo/exhaust because of expansion/contraction etc.
  13. Yeah didn't think that through. Personally I'm not a fan of locktite, unless I don't plan to take it apart again for a very long time/ever
