  5. Wheel bearings sorted. I'm already packed
  6. I've had the front bullbar off and replaced the centre tube I bent while "gardening", found one side of the bar is bent back and tried to straighten it. Didn't fit in our press, so I put it under a stabilizer leg of a crane truck we had in the yard. Put the weight of the truck on it but it didn't straighten. I don't know what the PO hit but it must have been solid! Put it back on with some new bolts, sorted out the front hooks, relocated the solenoid box for the winch to under the bonnet, tidied up the cables for the winch, fitted pintle to the rear, lifted the spare tire up 75mm which took quite a bit of modifying the bracket, wired up the extra ciggy sockets, bought another pulley block, winch extension strap, winch dampener. These are all things I have been meaning to do for ages. Even though I got a wof recently I checked the front wheel bearings and one is shagged so I'll be doing that this week.

  11. Also maybe have a look at what angle the arm was in relation to the pushrod in the old setup, pedal at rest angle and brakes applied angle. My mind says they should be at right angles to each other at full brake application
  12. Have you got enough stroke on that little lever arm?
  13. Find a tube socket that fits over the ceramic but sits on the metal of the plug and give it a whack with a hammer. That'll squash the washer under the plug. Works for copper washers under banjo bolts
