  1. Cheap small smoked indicators from Ali. Check out the size comparison!
  2. Bit late for me now but if it come back on sale I’ll get one.
  3. Repainted switch blocks and rebuild brake master. Looking forward to getting this bike back on the street. Blury pics don’t help soz
  4. Despite how much I dick around with these old money pits this is the first master cylinder I’m rebuilding. I watched a YouTube video which showed taking the cir-clip out and the insides come out of the bore. In true oldschool fashion that didn’t work. Instead lots of crc, grazed knuckles and heat did! She was jammed in there real tight. I’m still learning a lot and that’s the point isn’t it?
  5. I see mitre10 has them, I wonder if they'll price match so I don't have to pay shipping...
  6. It’s a simple job but a bit of a dick around.
  7. I got a 6v sla battery from jaycar for the tc125. Replaced the dash bulbs with LED. Today I done the valve shims on the 550. I somehow managed to mix up all my measurements when I pulled it down for sandblasting so I’ve still got one that’s out. Not by much tho. I’ll start the master cylinder rebuild when I get a day or so coming up and order the braided lines. Apart from trying to find a 4-1 or taking my bike to Cycleworks in Welly to get pipes made it’s pretty much done.
  8. Not sure what the quality is like but these are on trade special at Bunnings at the moment.
  9. There was some real farm spec shenanigans going on with the rear brake cable. looking at the front forks I could prob squeeze a 3.50 chonky golden boy in there.
  10. I swapped tyres, tubes and brake shoes on the farm bike. cleaned carb again and reinstalled the standard pilot jet size. Still needs a few bits but she’s pretty much ready for the vin process. 3.50 - 18 Golden Boy on the rear 70/100 - 19 Kenda K760 front Whites tubes. Surprised at how clean the front wheel was inside. Brake shoes looked like the original ones from the 70’s. Quick vid of it running.
  11. Will there be another ride next year same dates? I might book time off now...
  12. I reckon a bike like @Shakotoma50 could be perfect for this! Or the dual range ag bikes!
  13. Look forward to seeing this at brass monkey!
  14. Slowly getting there with this thing. Will probably replace coils. I’ve got some genuine Suzuki parts to come, shims and a master cyl rebuild kit. Going with braided Hel lines up front and will swap the genuine fuel tap onto this from my pop up katana. Ive still got Hagon shocks to replace the shitty stock ones. I should rebuild forks at some point too.
  15. Ive been working away at the 550 with the intention to use as a commuter now the reg is 39$ a year! That means looking at old pics trying to figure out what wires go where, found some from when i done piston rings and head work.
  16. Nice! Quite like these bikes. Are you staying red or going to blue? Katie Abdila on insta has a nice tidy one if you’re looking for inspo!
  17. I used the home brand stuff too! I left mine for ages but changing out for fresh after a couple days makes sense. Don’t leave the fuel tap in with the vinegar in the tank
  18. Good quality stuff like that makes all the difference!
  19. Apparently most roads aren’t engineered for the 100kp/h open road limit so they’re doing that across the country. Sure to upset a few.
