  1. yea thats quite different to the one we / kyle got off abey. that one was a full exhaust including header etc, all one unit, similar muffler design tho. TBH i think they are shit, IMO only suited for 50cc as the header is tiny, it backfires like buggery too for some reason and its the muffler that causes this.

that you you posted VG looks like it has a bigger internal diameter. you could also just get one of these- i had one turn up today and its lush for the price

  2. I will have my PLB with me, I take in on most rides just in case.

i slept on a wooden floor inside with nothing but the clothes on my back last year and was fine. I think the key is to be drunk enough. Greg had that plan locked well in last year, he just passed out on the hard wooden deck, someone was kind enough to throw a sleeping bag on him.

  3. Any blackwoods type health and safety place will have those little 400gm extinguishers. We make contractors tree fallers carry them on their belts in summer months. I might grab one and mount to my bike actually that’s probs not a bad idea.

most summer trail rides make people have them, just tape them to fork tubes usually.

  4. Yea I’m locked in, St90 is not finished nor tested. If it’s not ready I’ll just take the trombone, it survived raglan (just) so it will survive this. Those corrugations on the whanga coast were deadly.

I’m planning on not having a rack on my st as it’s gunna be a bit too hard / cbf. Gunna mount my Honda aux fuel can and wear a small backpack for spare change of undies / tubes and a few tools. Will throw a small 30l dry bag with sleeping stuff in the support vehicle

there must be a bit of margin in them cos most places will haggle a sweet deal, pretty sure i got mine for like $299 on a field days special at sparex that seemed to hang around about 5 months after field days last year.

probably comparable to most good taiwanese spanners, i was gunna do SP tools as @Dolan can get them in but i liked the matt finish of the toptul and im a bit of a fan boy as the other stuff i have from them is also lush.
