    so i did a thing these came up on tard and i said to my mate if you buy my 8 inch rims today il buy these. pretty happy with how its turned out. they are 5 1/2 inch rims and im running a 205 65 in the rear. time for Hanmer Springs oh also put a stereo in it put some carpet over my tunnel that looks ugly, made a parcel tray also. plugged a few holes and what not. happy camper now

    i found saturday was good cause they where all racing and you got to see a huge variety. sunday you only got to see the fast ones. thats how i felt any way but sunday was still and epic day none the less will probably head for both days

    joels beeeeen super lazy ( busy with his gay chef life ) he lowered his bug. which got him a swaper crate of beer cause his mate said he wouldnt be able to do it. he brought my old rims we went to kumeu and what not racked up some good old kms a while ago he sent me a link for a 1500 single port engine in hamilton. he said he would bid on it. didnt here from him as he was busy winning a chef thing so i rung his dad he said shit yea bid on it. so i won the engine. joel was slutted that he didnt win and some one else in hamilton won it. HAHAHAHA LOOOOOOSER gave it a week and told him to go get some tools out of my wagon (i left the vw engine in there) he was wtf is this engine doing in there... he owes me gobbies his dad has snap chat and sends me his snap chats of joel been a pain in the ass few weeks went passed and i went to the v dub shoppie and grabbed there gear box case so we could start his engine on the floor old rhyscar was over at the same time gave us a hand it goes!!! then joel got into it and ripped his old engine out was 4 days later and wabam!!! new engine in took it for a spin with no exhaust on it. fucken bad ass! shooting flames everywhere got my friend publo over and he have it a tickle up and got it running perfect. and today he drove it to grandads to show him and now its outa my shop!!! and that is that need to get a wof on it for him now

    Go get them skimmed. My vw ones are like this atm and I really need to skim them/tight hub nut to make sure there's no play. Good luck. I just use my engine brakes.

    I think what makes it more awkward is I miss working on it at stupid hours also..... Your more than welcome to come kick tyres when ever you want. Next on the list it to do headlining and install heater.

    wow i need to do an update. the roof is white!!!! and my gears dont pop out and random times any more. this gear box has sincros in 1st which is amazing and also rather weird after been so used to coming to a complete stop to put it in 1st gear. any way. old 10/5 (mark) mates got married and a mate found a photo and was like how do you know them.... (i didnt) there photo looks rad they must be waving down a car cause it broke down or something... but i done a wedding as well il have to ask Mr West if he can do some stalking and see if he can get photos. turns out he knew the bride after seeing some more photos of my car.... im not going to rob a bank with this car everyone will know its me. any way i bumped into a dude at an auckland os meet. he had his ap5 regal there. got yarning and he was after some parts and i was after one of his hot wires. we exchanged numbers and just last weekend me made out. it kinda went like this. he showed me his bits i showed him mine. (turns out mine is broken. missing as screw in there) then we got really close together. we kinda got just laid next to each other for a while. and he stole some glass toys of mine (a couple of windows) i stole his 14 inch toy. (hot wire) and we now just exchange emails with raunchy photos of heater cores and pipes. now mine is fixed. lucky i hord valiants and slant 6 parts went into the boot of my spare shell which is in front on the good ap5 and looked at this stole its screw put that back in mine yesterday and drove it to work this morning. drove around doing all my pick ups in and and had some sweet smiles and thumbs up. think il just drive this heaps now. my holden is crap. by for now.

    Well and truly rotten. Il cut the outer of the door skin off keep that in the smoko room. Keep the popes noes engine and a few other things. I've sold the 4 guards to a guy in welly I think and il use the beam to make me a new one or a narrowed one and kinda keep what else is worth keeping like tank brakes maybe and speedo. What kinda gearbox you after? Mrwest has to many of them in his garage.

    Yea more than welcome to come down and use it to mock up. If you want to go for a long drive to welly or can arrange some one to pick up a pan. There is one down there for fiddy bucks in was about to buy before buying this danger.

    sooooo i brought this the other day...... went for a drive to gizzy to pick it up. he had heaps of other peaces of rust on his lawn sadly all in the same state of my one i just brought. kinda brought it to do a mock up and see if we can make things like this work talking to the simon at get low customs about it and said that would be the best and most legit way. went around to talk about upholstery on a car we are both working on and 2 hours later i left with and a bit of a deal with one of his own cars hes doing up. this should be fun.

    id rather not go and cut it like that just encase i go down the track of wanting an original bug with standard wheels on it one day or if i sell it and some one else does that to it. still researching heaps about bag set ups and i may have scored another pan to build a bag set up on and go from there

    not much has been happening with this car. i have been using it now and again. had been going really well. i had needed to re bush the drop spindle as it had gone egg shape. so i had done that and while that was out my mate joel the jew wanted to steel my shape of my extended shock towers. so we ended up making 4 new longer ones so i could go a bit lower than before hand. ended up something like this i think a full tank of gas and i think itl lay frame. drove it out side like this and my god it caught on a lot of things and i have 0 steering like this also. i had realized i had a bit of space in the rear so i ordered some wider barrels about 6 weeks ago also. they arrived last week some time 8s this time round. i was speaking to a mate the other day about upholstery and he said he wanted his truck done and i said i wanted my floors raised...... so we now are getting what we both want. will probably drop the vw out there tomorrow while he is on night shift and let him go to town on it. some are probably asking what you mean raising your floor? well like this where you can see the ground well the floor drops down about 2 inches and catches on everything. so going to make it a flat pan. should make the life of low a bit easier
