Hey everyone have had no internet haha, cheers for all your advice, i found the chassis number under rear seat they obviously didn't look hard enough. Im getting plates made up as they said it needs them and im going to play dumb and say i forgot to put them in and there the original ones. i guess thats not to bad if they do need a cert but ill make sure they dont need one haha, yea $50 is up there but really only failed on 2 things which is pretty good wait till u see what ive done on it to get it to wof stage.

Fast forward to where i am on the beetle had wof other day. Failed on: 1. rust in front of fire all ( fair enough getting fixed now ) 2. Seat belts - this is the thing im pissed about, the beetle has seat belt mounts 2 on floor pan and 3rd on side wall, it had seat belts in when i bought it but i replaced them for new ones as last ones fd, there saying that they need plates underneath but if i put aftermarket ones on then i need a cert? if i make some up and say they were original and came with car and for got to put them on then it should be fine ? Someone help please asap

Also at Bunnings buy the product in link and get some shit brushes, rust kill the shit out of the floor apply it good and everywhere you know its working when it turns black, wear all ( P.P.E ) you wont need a big 1L but good to have. Poor into a container and dont tip used stuff back in because u will activate the whole bottle and there goes $50 http://www.bunnings.co.nz/quik-rust-converter-primer-1l-_p00270361 shits strong wear a mask Once you have done one coat let it dry and do another

Go to Bunnings and buy a good wire brush attachment as in link below https://www.google.co.nz/search?q=wire+brush+attachment+for+drill&biw=1422&bih=626&source=lnms&tbm=isch&sa=X&ved=0ahUKEwidspW29bfJAhUItpQKHQfuBMoQ_AUIBigB&dpr=0.9#imgrc=zxao3b6cCb3R6M%3A Make sure u wear gloves and all that cause it goes everywhere and just go hard on the floor to get rid of all the stuff in last post As you can see it works mean and gets ride of it all Pretty happy with how well it worked
