    Any of the diesel repair shops like diesel services should have them on the shelf. Is it a turbo one? Ive got a couple of spare pumps if you want to just replace the seals on them and just swap it over

    I've got a dti and adapters to fit the pump to set timing correctly. I can show you how if you want, might as well do the cambelt while you are at it

    You can put a bit of clear tube in the return and see if you are getting any air bubbles but wont identify exactly where its pulling air from. I really wish I still had my 300tdi disco, such a great engine, good power and so fuel efficient compared to this pile of crap 4d56t im driving at the moment

    Is the lift pump working all good?
  5. Not a 5/8" shaft? Pretty close to 16mm
  6. The atc engine is ready to go, it's just all the other bits to fix/paint and put back together

  14. Does it have rim locks? My xr only had one per wheel and vibrated like crazy at anything over 70k, i balanced them out with stick on wheel weights on the inside of the rim under the rim tape
  15. Cut a small bit out of the bottom of the tail light and glue in a bit of clear plastic
  16. What's 0-100 now that it's not losing half its power to self clearancing

  18. Too tight and probably not a very round piston or bore
  19. Did you buy piston and barrel together? I've always had the machinists bore it to suit the piston, it's only $90 odd to get it bored
  20. Just looking at the specs for ring gap on other air cooled engines and they all seem about the same as what you have. Have you pulled it apart yet?
