  5. I'll need to talk brakes with you too. They are super sticky/grabby. I suspect the calipers and prop valve need a re fresh. (pads shoes and cylinders have been done. I'd love to have a multi carb angry 6 but at the end of the day it's a use and I'll use it for towing/use stuff so I want some degree of livibility. Will keep the stock carb and manifold. Will keep a eye out for a set of extractors
  6. I got a injected 202 dizzy a while ago but never got around to fitting it. They are x2 cards but I won't put them on. I am not sure if it has rts or not as there is no badging on it at all. Extractors are on the list too
  7. Last weekend neal gave me a hand and we pulled the nose cone/rad support off. There is a bit of surface rust I'd like to sort out before it gets bad. Grill has some rust spots so that'll get re chromed. I'll pull the 202 out and give it a refresh, new rings bearings and a mild cam. I'll probably get carried away and do a wire tuck/shove the battery under the tray.   8. I had a thread up a while ago but its gone. I got it off my great aunty, Her partner bought it new and made the tray for it. He used it as his builders vehicle for years and after he died it went in the garage and did the odd tip run. They put some covering on the door cards which has gone a bit dumb bit I'll leave it as it'll do more damage than its worth to take them off. I just about sucked the seat up my bum on a couple of corners on the drive home. Anything close to the recommended retail speed on corners was at the limit of the tyres The day I got it home No options ticked here, it had a radio blank and a cigarette lighter blank, and just a you have cooked the engine light instead of a temp gauge I've taken the tray off and given it a cleanup/under seal. I'll need to do it again later. It didn't want to go up the drive without doing skids, 20 year old commercial tires are a bit shit in the wet.   10. Had a fresh look at this today. we suspected a faulty cap so I replaced it and no change. I had another look and I put a diode in backwards. Now I just need to figure out the 10s of hours and the charge-pump for the dekatron.... Got a quick video and will do a quick burn in test and see if it stays happy

  17. Best to check voltage when it's running. Can show 12 with no load, if there is a shit connection it'll drop down with a load.

  21. Went to nats and back. Blew both donut gaskets on the manifolds and was pretty much open headers back from Huntly. It did some awesome flame shooting after overtaking people. Gaskets have been replaced now. I am looking at selling this soon, will be heading to the states In Sept and want more toys. I'll get some estimates on re doing the white paint ad it's very thon/starting to rust a tad
  22. Or re grease all the joints in the linkages? Could be dry and binding up
