  1. Or other thing would be if we’ve figured out approximately where we are planning to be dining / numbers give the ladies at the places a call a week before or so and give a heads up that there’s gonna be a bunch of sweaty dudes in town so they’re ready for us and maybe have extra staff on. i think we took those places by shock last year
  2. Have I got a deal for you. 2005 suzuki ax100 wof till October / couple of months rego left. $1600 chuck some all terrains on and your away laughing
  3. Valid point by Blake. May was well rattle everything loose on the first day so you know what’s gonna fuck out. also yes. Was probably not as attentive on Motu on the last day as I should’ve been and ate shit quite well down a small bank. also, would be nice maybe to have a group set up for accomodation first night as it’s a good way to meet and interact with everyone. what about looking possibly looking into one hotel for everyone - book yourself but all stay in the same spot. That was we could carry on socialising after dinner etc i think the place we stayed only worked out $10 more expensive each than the hostel
  4. @johnnyfive Andrew Swinton has expressed interest in coming this year too. dude who rode the pgo with the sheepskin seat cover/supplied the Vity last year. sign him up etc

  8. After cockteasing you guys, Meets just gonna be in the same place as last month. heh. We will be using the covered carpark which is situated directly below the Countdown Supermarket, as pictured above. The Countdown shopping complex is on the corner of Mt Wellington Highway and Penrose Road, Mt Wellington. Food options within the complex: - Burgerfuel - Pizza Hut - Dominos - Rack & Roll Ribs Food options across the road: - Sal's Pizza - Waves Seafood (Fish and Chips) - Chunky Chicken Food Bar We pretty much all go to Burgerfuel though. They offer us a free drink from the Coke range with every Burger and Chips combo purchased. FIRST MEET?? If you are new to these meets then here are a few points that may help; Most people usually show up between 7:00pm and 8pm-ish. We'll be parked in the covered carpark below Countdown . Remember its always a casual affair, a place to yarn to mates and make new ones. An Oldschool car is not required at all, but if you've got one on the road then bring it along. Doesn't need to be flash or special. RULES AND THE BORING STUFF!! Basically these are in place so we have a fun and friendly meet and leave the carpark clean and tidy like we were never there. Take your rubbish away with you or put it in a bin, Use the public bins provided throughout the carpark or the ones for the food businesses themselves. Don't be a messy cunt. Smokers please don't dispose of your butts on the ground! Again, don't be a messy cunt. Be a good one. No alcohol consumption at all at this event. We are not allowed to consume alcohol on the premises. You are welcome to invite a few mates, but please note you are 100% responsible for their behaviour If you belong to other clubs and feel they might be keen to come check out our meet then that's cool but please PM Shakotom or BDA780 for permission before inviting them. NO Skids or Reckless/Dangerous driving. We're in a covered carpark that echoes so don't be a dick and rev your engine unnecessarily because then you will get us kicked out. MOST OF THESE ARE COMMON SENSE. WE WILL PROVIDE A FEW GENTLE REMINDERS WITH THE NEW RULES BUT REPEAT OFFENDERS MAY BE ASKED TO LEAVE. If you have any suggestions or input for the meets then PM Shakotom or BDA780 Thanks!! Chur.

A ride designed by @chris r in collaboration with MOPED NZ MC Meet at 9am SHARP at the Wakeboard Park carpark on Beachcroft Ave Onehunga. Street parking available across the road or if you have a trailer we are working on a secure parking location 2 minutes from the start point. This is going to be a good one! Some excellent narrow and winding roads leading to west coast beaches for max pest with a few stops along the way. Really important to keep left and don’t cut corners around here, otherwise you will die. link to Facebook event https://www.facebook.com/events/226903241212922??ti=ia And if your not on there already, join Moped NZ! https://m.facebook.com/groups/1639560922975814 Essentials: - Don't bring a shit bike that will break down. If you break down you're left behind to sort yourself. No support vehicle. - Know the road rules. In 50/60kph areas we will ride as a group and own the lane. In areas with a speed limit higher than this you MUST KEEP LEFT. - We won't wait for you. Don't be late. - Bring the tools you need for your bike, and a tube/puncture repair kit or a way to pick up your bike if it breaks down. - DON'T BLOCK TRAFFIC. We will have a couple of specific people to do this, and do this safely. If you haven't been asked. Don't do it. Put us in danger and we'll throw you in the ocean. - Wear a minimum of long pants and shoes. Top half is your choice but it gets cold even on a hot day riding in a T-shirt. GLOVES ARE HIGHLY RECOMMENDED. A crash at 50kph will still take most of your skin. - There is fuel along the way. We will stop once for it. Make sure your bike is full when you arrive. - DON'T PASS THE LEADER. If you don't know the route, and you haven't been asked to lead then please don't get in front of the pack and take everyone on the wrong route. - HAVE FUN PLZ 250cc and below welcome. No modern sports bikes etc. Most bikes will be between 50-150cc. Ride speeds are 50-60kph ONLY. Bigger bikes are at the back of the pack, no exceptions. Classic, weird and different is encouraged. Not sure if your bike suits? Just ask. Don't turn up on a Ninja 250 or something similar. We'll cover you in 50kph skids and tyre smoke before politely asking you to leave. any questions? Post below or PM @MopedNZ, @GuyWithAviators Or @Shakotom. catch you there
