  1. not sure there would be enough room judging by the vid above, however it could have longish trumpets on. SHoudl turn up this week so ill chuck them on and have a look then. for sure! will be worth it when we get some maximum doortage.
  2. i see his other auction he has trumpets that can run the short single filters for $40 each plus $50 a pair of filters...So adds up pretty fast!
  3. should of mentioned i sure those, is that the market rate $60 a trumpet??? and you cant run small filter socks on it. GIven the angle i wont be able to run a large uni filter like that.
  4. So i have just acquired a ITB setup for the LS1. Has been made up out of 2 sets of 20V 4age throttles. Doesnt come with the trumpets however. Where can i find trumpets/filter socks from for these throttle? Recommendations. Is this setup shown in the start of the vid in the bonnet shot minus the trumpets.
  5. mate that cars so sweet. top effort driving all the way up. Troublebound kick around with our crew a bit . good fellas with some sweet cars.
  6. I spy with my little eye a piece of my car on your bench lol
  7. yeah have just spoken to 2 others that have Impalas with disk front and drum rears and no booster nad have both said its fine and passed cert/brake test so might just go for that in the first instance. If im not happy with it can always change it later.
  8. thanks mate certainly looking forward to it being complete, turned out to be a much bigger project than originally anticipated and kind of spiralled out of control a bit as well. Oh well hopefully the end product will be worth the pain! ha
  9. yeah not sure why i got a 8" tbh. Iv done a disk conversion on the front so not factory.
  10. Hmmm yeah will read some more but was what hotrod heaven suggested. Iv got a new factory one with i think a 8" booster but reading on the net when your running a ls1 you have to relocate your coils which i dont really want to do to clear the booster, as thats a pain, and i wont be able to use the coil covers iv got.
  11. Yeah Brodies one...Todd from Tga with a 63 doesnt ring a bell but may have run into him!
  12. for the 64...disk front and drum rear. want to clean up firewall the factory heater box and booster/master cylinder and wiper motor are massive and hideous. And given how far iv already gone might as well finsih it off under the hood nicely also. Have done a bit of homework and was pretty much told i need a booster. Have bought a willwood tandem alloy master cylinder from Cardwells funnily enough bolted straight up to the orignial booster mounts. Going to run that and a remote VH44 booster under the dash or similar likely. Unless anyone has any better/ easier ideas this seemed the cheapest/tidiest/easiest way to do it.
  13. allgood man whenever your ready ill be there to get them ha
  14. looks good man haha...good luck, i thought mine was big also....needless to say its tiny now all mine/everyone elses shit is in there haha. Already want to build a bigger one/extend haha. Those tek screws are a pain, half my packs were blunt so wouldnt go in/got thrown into the paddock for someones tyre
  15. looking awesome man nicely done. cant wait to see it complete!
  16. bagging the 64 have all the gear just havent got the car back to do! Mates 37 is running bags and is a sweet little set up just 3/8 line nice and slow but does the trick for rolling low but at a nice height when your loaded or on the open road. Have been doing a bit of looking into levelling systems of late. Looks like the Accuair E-Level is the go, bit of cash but pretty fool proof and works on heights/adjusts with load and while driving. Ill be getting a kit for the impala when i get a bit closer. Simon at AirrideNZ sells all the bits youll need.
  17. Nice 64 Impala convertible you got there mate haha. Good to catch up at Beach Hop hope mines done for the next one!
  18. ahh yes thats right haha havent been back to hamz but yeah still keen man!
  19. Spent beach hop crusing in the brown/creme 37 Chev bomb that was clocking up the miles in Whanga all week. What a mint week weather wise and some super sweet cars. Cant wait for mine to be done for next year!
  20. Mates truck she jsut got a couple of weeks before beach hop needs a bit of tlc but got a Camaro front clip incl 350/700r4 combo and goes real well. should turn out good when shes done with it!!
  21. So things have been flat out and havent put an update up for a while but the cars progressing real well. Rear tubs, boot floor and drop panels all in and welded up and sealed ready for rear quarters. Doors have had rust cut out and partially reskinned followed up by being fitted up. Now have the rear quarter on one side test fitting it up. Needs to be cut and modified as its a 2 door coupe quarter as this is the closest thing you can buy to a convertible quarter. Stoked with the progress its coming along real well and cant wait to get the quarters on and ready for paint!! The week at beach hop has given me a few ideas and extra bits to do. Panelling my firewall now and running a wiper motor under the dash or small one in the cowling, removing my heater box also. For the brakes have got a Alloy Willwood tandem master cylinder and will run a VH44 remote booster under the dash or similar. Should make for a super clean engine bay once it all gets painted and back in! Talk some shit down there > http://oldschool.co....la/?hl=westpala
  22. Running drum rears and disk fronts. Would i get away with just running a straight master cylinder like a small wilwood one or the likes mounted under floor on chassis. Or are my brakes going to end up being shit as fuck??
  23. Has anyone done one of these? Say under the floor like hotrodders do? Do you basically get a remote/small set up and put it wherever you need/want/can fit?
  24. plan 4 - steal brentons car adn take the setup out and put in wagon...instant forged 450kw everything breaking monster
