There is a user on here called sparrow hes dropped a lexus v8 in a stag same engine bay as a mk2 basically . Hes using my old independent ford 9" diff in it and my wheels from my mk1. See if his links still work.

My lexus to triumph sump was a 10mm thick flange with the pick up points for the trans at the back end, then welded the pan off an old small block chev i had floating around and modded pickup to suit. If you have a front sump supposedly possible to carefully cut the gearbox mounts off the ass end rotate the thing 180 degrees then weld back on for a rear sump. Not forgetting pickup mods too. Pretty sure steering rack will be in your way if front sump is tried i could be wrong though.

Lexus v8 is a bitch to fit in one of these i sunk one into my mk1 back in 2003 custom sump headers everything is tight and in the way. Ls1 with a camaro sump would be way easier Commodore headers would fit with a few pipes tickled.

Remarkably this thing is wof and rego'd as of today passed wof back in February. Currently been used by a sales rep at work to deliver grader blades face palmed the other day rolled up the door at work to find a massive digger bucket strapped to it. Had to call that trip off for him as im sure it would ended in death.

Tried blowing jets out with airgun and dropped drains on float bowls let it flow for a bit no real difference after putting it back together.

Just resurrected my long dormant bike its been parked up since 2002 my dads taken it on the odd ride here and there. But it has been neglected since 2010 so has needed a few new parts to get it to start again new battery coils and drained tank and float bowls today, Few shots of engine start in a can she fired up and ran on 3 and smoked like fuck eventually cleared itself, set off for a ride gave it some berrys and it cleared its throat and screamed to the readline thru the gears on all 4 cylinders. Sweet its cured i thought till i pulled up in the drive it died. Now it wont do anything but idle and it needs 3/4 throttle to achieve that any ideas? Its running on all 4 (pipes are hot) but yeah its not happy.

I had a TT Z32 11 years ago bought it with a blown auto box no one wanted to work on it so bought tools and a box out of a Nissan cima and threw it in. Tight to work on but not that bad. There's a guy on the nz 300zx forum's who writes chips for them that are real good mine with a single 3.5" exhaust sat at 12 psi with no boost control and was utterly lethal. Great work great car.

After several attempts to make the smaller chain work i just couldn't get it to stay on the sprockets, so after some head scratching how i could get a sprocket in 420 chain small enough to fit i ordered a 17 tooth front sprocket from a random dirt bike off trademe. After killing 3 or so drill bits it got 4 holes in it and bolted on it now works and doesnt throw chains. The carb however has decided to jam at 3/4 throttle and again at idle. Anyone know if a trademe universal 2 stroke carb might work?

Took this for a drive to Auckland for dinner at Silvia Park parked under lights went to leave...... cue big block exhaust sounds some asshole had tried to nick my exhaust tips and dislodged the rear muffler. Was sitting on ground under car easy fix but a noisy trip home.

I have a speed controller and hand control here leftover from my electric to petrol conversion on a stand up scooter a few spare 12v batteries too. Will watch to see what you find is poked.

Progress has been slow on this but i have been doing stuff latest being a full twin 2.5 inch exhaust and a spoiler i got for 10 bucks so i can see where the ass end is backing into garage. Exhaust has woken it up immensely i haven't bothered upping the boost yet because the old exhaust would of killed any gains. Car owes me less than 3k and is properly fast and stops real well sounds meaty for a v6 too dominant sound is blower whine no sign of any moo. Scored the exhaust for a box of waikato draught because someone had run over the rear muffler took a bit of effort to fix but a brand new Remus exhaust would be worth a fair bit surely. Bring on Night Speed Drag Wars!!

Seeing as ive turned my back rim into this square shaped thing I've cracked into some other things i needed, like getting more power and more RPM'S Ello governor your services will no longer be required while i had the muffler off to access that bastard device i noticed how shit the exhaust port is........ 30 minutes with a file it should flow way better now. Which of course led me looking in here Rocker Arms have ass loads of gap so have closed those up hopefully giving me a bit more lift it runs good and is way more snappy on the blip of the throttle now however i'm contemplating whipping the head off and porting the fuck out of it as there is plenty of meat able to be removed and maybe shave the head a bit for more compression. Then an exhaust that doesn't choke it to death would surely help.

Got run off road today by grumpy old prick in a 4wd lunched chain and cracked a wheel. Took it too a car park out by puketirini lake here in Huntly to avoid upsetting anyone mission failed there FFS. Hopefully can get a new wheel or im breaking welder out again to adapt something else.

Will get something up soon waiting on a back ordered throttle cable all the test runs have been by banging the throttle onto rabbit and holding on flicking the kill switch if it gets to hairy. Once ive got the cable will gut the governor too its bloody intrusive.

Ass puckering handling at speed round corners while giving it berrys steps it out like a bitch! Weirdly controllable standing up though just feels sketchy hop off gas it straightens up. Super fun!

Vn fuel tank an option ? Is there room can you be bothered be far easier then braising a fuel sender ring into your old tank. Cut out the risk of blowing your face off.

This is a busy little spot chain cogs shafts and brake all stuffed in there little battery so i can ride it at night (need a light) so people cant see how ridiculous i look at speed. Signs of life...... Awful smelling tyre it certainly spins fast enough

Maiden voyage 1 2 3 completed 1&2 threw chain both times after a few tweaks 3rd time was a charm hums along at 30ks 1/3 throttle cant give it much more throttle cable needs adjustment. The brakes work surprisingly well clocked up 5 ks on it. Pretty happy goes hard 4 what is.

I have a driveline Cheers Storm Parts. Except for the Fucking bearings i ordered thursday last week (Saeco) Thumbs down.... And it all needs to fit in this tiny area here. Can see what i mean by 25h chain been dinky? hand made 420 chain to 25h Adapter sprocket. Ive got the 420 chain from the clutch running 1-1 on the jackshaft that way i can add a bigger sprocket easily to change the final drive as its a common size and commonly available 25h is hens teeth hopefully it is strong enough a 420 sprocket to fit my wheel was not easily doable.
