The manifolds going to need to feed from the top but i cant see it been to much of an issue it should be ok, whole shebangs gonna be slung over back wheel as the extra weight side mounted would have been a bit much though would look mental. The fuel pump has to move under the deck with the battery as thats the best place i can think of fuel tank will also need rehoming.
  2. Clocked housings and sat everything against each other with the oil drain pointed straight down this will have to be how it sits to work i guess. #Novice
  3. Did some work on the compressor housing today, chopped off everything not needed ported everything up to the turbine (left the actual inlet alone as i dont want to mess up any clearances? The SU carby lines up real nice too.
  4. Could you bung some leather in there maybe to fill the gap in the dies?
  5. This excites me. 10mm thick turbo and manifold flanges the one shaped like T is a weird adapter as the oil feed and drain are next to each other. Still need to drill the mounting holes as these were traced onto A4 scanned and emailed because i was away for work so measurements are close but not perfect. im not too worried about as i still need to attack the heads with a die grinder and will finish them up with a file.

  8. Turbo manifold Flanges are getting cut next week this will be epic win or epic failure. Might need to think about A scatter shield in case a rod lets go..... and takes off one of my feet.
  9. Why not add some NZ Post style saddle bags? throw some decent size fuel tanks in there be even cooler if you could hide the jet units in them so it looks pedestrian spec.
  10. I have 2 electric scooter throttles if you could use them your welcome to them Twist grip style around 40mm wide. Would serve as deadman as well if you left the return springs in.

Surprisingly this thing hasn't given me any real grief since sorting the rooted cvs. Only one slight gremlin ive noticed after giving it berrys it runs a little rough and feels a bit doughy which has led me down the dark art of data logging. What to do with this stream of info is a bit over my head but it has me looking at the fuel pump or pressure regulator as a culprit. Other then that it fucking RIPS!! Im terrified of breaking it though so nana around in it getting good gas mileage 99% of the time, i did surprise a soarer driver the other week which has got me liking it again.

    I attempted to use it once had so many weird reactions happen on my bonnet i was practicing on i gave up and sold the car.... Pay up a bit for something a bit more user friendly.

  16. Tiny tyres are mint burn em up and repeat cheap as. Your gonna need front brakes so you can do stand up donuts.
  17. Must have got the gearing in the sweet spot by sounds of it. Industrial motors deliver torque in rather impressive fashion, All of it! Fucking instantly.
  18. Could you stack frames side by side maybe and chuck some pit bike forks and wheels on? Side on would look the same but be way stronger. Worked for me.
  19. I had a similar alternator setup on my triumph which i used for tig, i also hooked it up to a dodgy hydrogen cell and used it for brazing rather inefficient but it worked well. Cool project needs a PTO Driven wood lathe.

  21. Got a spare carby if ya need one? This SU better like E85! Hopefully this also explains why i chucked such a big fuel pump on it from the beginning.
  22. Can anyone weld a flange onto a turbo for me?ive had a terrible idea and have all the parts to make it happen.
