hahaha.. its not even that good, I think somehow it managed to get a "great pies" review and all of a sudden everyone wants to go there, now if jacksons was still open that would be the place to go, good photo ops aswell..
ahh prochump.. best of the best.. good to hear its all good again, thats when a big bank of knowledge comes in very handy as it the sort of shit you can chase for ages.
Well there's your problem.. its well documented like everyone else has said that procomp is total rubbish.. I agree with cletus that it sounds rich, could be a weak spark from that ignition fouling your plugs and causing probs
Talk about rare.. seems to be fairly solid cept for the bits above the back arches, just well used. Concur with keeping it left hook as its a yank mazda might as well keep with its roots.. I reckon you should also keep it piston, you can get some pretty good power out of those 4 bangers, specially if you upgrade to the 2.0 and force feed it.. not everything needs a rota
just saying.. v8's need a lot of cooling, keeping the temps down in those big lumps of iron is a big task, they ain't no peugeot..
edit* but you're right you'll be good with 60 amps, just , low elec spec and all that haha
noice.. not to surprised if they shit themselves tbh.. they're the same fan as the ea/eb falcon which, besides a mitzy, was the car I saw most on the side of the road in melbs..
what sort of amperage does it pull?
Thanks mate, that was the info I was after.. Life's a bitch and now I can't justify the money this year, will hopefully have it done before the nationals, been wanting these for a couple of years haha..
The only reason I asked was because it seemed to be about the same price to add bands, looking at the wheel there is only four 50mm welds to cut then reverse the barrels and re weld.. is prob just a flat rate.. I wa going to go ahead regardless but recent events have put it all on the backburner, cheers for the input tho..
