  1. I am in auckland, There is a brake place not far from me I will go and see them.
  2. Looking from the back the brake line uses the lower hole
  3. I wonder if I could find a set of the ball valve bleeders that would fit? this would fix all of the problems
  4. Having some problems with a brand new set of wheel cylinders, my car has 1954 Customline front drum brakes. The wheel cylinders have diffrent sized bleed nipples on the left and right, I think they are a mismached set, the problem is after a few days sitting I can see fluid has been weeping out, i tighten them up as much as i dared to. Anyone come across a fix for something like this?
  5. Don't shave anymore than you need to off the head,
  6. Argon and what ever is in carb cleaner and brake cleaner makes nerve gas, I think its carb cleaner.
  7. Open up the gearbox part on the motor and you will see what contacts park the wipers
  8. The 2nd wire stays live to park the motor when the switch is turned off or some shit

    I had one short coby befor the diff and a long super coby with the single chamber close to the tail pipe on my triumph 2500, it wasn't too loud and wasn't raspy at all, also on a 4.1 falcon I had just one coby befor the diff, it sounded like a v8 at low speed driving, wasn't stupidley loud, your car from stock would have 2 or 3 free flow style mufflers

    Just put one Coby, the 600mm long one, maby a shorter one befor the diff to.
  12. Could starter motor gear be hitting the ring gear a bit?
  13. Dose anyone know the max lenth of antenna you can put on your car? I want to use a full lenth 1/4 wave CB antenna wich is a shade under 9ft

  15. No not realy, its up indise the hole, its about 10mm too short, the old ford ones are quit long and stick out about 20mm into the water flow

I am having some troble with the sender unit not being long enough to reach down into the water passage when its screwed down into the head, its on a 1939 Ford v8 motor, I wanted to use up all my old junk to buld this car, I have a VDO electric gauge and sender. Do they make a extra long sender unit? and where could I find one? how do I match the right one to the gauge?
  17. I was looking at my Ford telstar, it just has a peace of steel tube bent in a loop infront of the rad for a PS oil cooler, no thermostat in there.
  18. Don't buy the Flaring kit from Raidum in penrose, won't even flair copper, even the powerbult was better, it did at least two flairs on steel bundy tube.
  19. Thats I nice looking tool, dose it do imperial tube? I for got to say My cheep now broken $30 kit came with one of those tube cutters witch is the only good thing in the kit so I got the ends cut nicley,
  20. Haha yes I got a $30 doller flaring tool, it did nealy half the job with a few mods, I managed to leave the pipe nuts off like k-trips did,

  23. Hello, Would someone in auckland be able to help me do 4 flares on 2 coppernickel brake lines, they are off the car and I can bring them to you, and I might be able to get my rat rod on the road.

    I don't think you would get a cet if your frame is half welded and brazed, its only bikes that were produced from fractory with brazed frames that will pass. 1.6mm Chromoly, or 3.2mm mild steel for cert.
