GARDRB Posted May 10, 2023 Posted May 10, 2023 Just been looking at the JTCC Corolla here https://www.racecarsdirect.com/Advert/Details/106617/1994-genuine-jtcc-fet-toyota-corolla-super-to?Published_by_Mike_Walters I know @Snoozin has lovingly fondled this car, but not sure how far up its skirt he looked. But can someone explain this front upright to me? It looks to me like the aluminium block has an arm of sorts heading inward to the lower arm, which doesn't appear to allow for any steering rotation of the upright, so I assume there is some sort of top balljoint mount further up the upright by those top four bolts that the wheel pivots from. Is this just essentially a fancy version of superstrut? https://global.toyota/en/detail/7829158 I think in writing this post I've essentially answered my own question, but I'd still love to hear everyone's thoughts. 1 Quote
Snoozin Posted May 10, 2023 Posted May 10, 2023 Yep, it's basically a homologated Superstrut. 3 Quote
Snoozin Posted May 10, 2023 Posted May 10, 2023 T190 Carina/Corona featured similar, but with that upright fabricated instead of machined. 2 Quote
