dabuzz
Amazing skills man, lovng the build! Tech question- I noticed you dressed all the welds on the chassis, I was always under the impression you had to leave welds raw for cert purposes, as weld is stronger with more surface area? I always thought that was the case too, but nearly every one we do at work gets the welds ground off. I can't see it being an issue, I have pictures of it all showing it's got a corner to corner weld, the top is just knocked off, so the full penetration to the edge of the parent material is still there. Plus half the original chassis is still underneath those plates, with welds between both parts. 1

I’m also more confident in doing a nice Tig weld over a mig weld. The Tig welder is also better than the mig at home. Basically just use the mig for plug welding and feeding me thin mild steel filler rods to Tig with haha 2
square
What a build ! That cast watts link rocker is cool, Ive got one in my pickup but lever is 2 pieces of flat bar pinching rose joints with a bush in the centre. That good the rear floor didnt have to come up to much. In my 53 the 4 link bars came up a ways, I got a few complaints from back passengers
