V-band Exhaust Flanges

Question for those who have fitted v-band exhaust flanges onto their ride.

Is it possible to fit these v-bands and weld the exhaust pipe on, from the inside of the v-band flange (B in my picture) instead of on the outside of the v-band flange (A in my picture)

The reason I ask is there is very little room to weld the top of the v-band on without removing the headers because the floor is in the way, I'm trying to avoid what would be an absolute cunt of a job.

yea you can do that.

the heat of the weld can distort  the flange if you weld it super close to the face so try and weld as far back into the flange ID as you can and youll be golden.
