ThePog
In my bus i will be running a gas hob only. I have made the box for the bottles to what I believe is the correct spec, and the hob has flame out protection etc. What i want to know is can I just run a standard gas reg/gas pipe to the hob? There is no physical issue doing this as it is not a long run between one and the other, so it means no need for gas fitting etc. The regulations I have read state a need for all work to be carried out by a gas fitter and then certified, but there is no actual gas fitting required...? Any of you lot know the rules?

fletch
Yea check with a gas fitter who knows about caravans and stuff. I had a 30 seater bus in Europe for a few years which had a 30kg bottle in he back. I ran hose to the front and used an airline style quick connect fitting that was made for gas. Also had an outlet on the outside so I could sit the cooker outside when the air temp was 35 degrees plus.
