malarky Posted April 10, 2016 Share Posted April 10, 2016 So I've put in a 7k into a little starlet, managed to get it running with an old carb that pissed fuel into the holes, went well but ran like shit after trying to give it some. Put on a better condition 32/36 and runs beautifully but slow, since I'm new school(young cunt), just know the basics of carbs and the headers have a hole for an O2 sensor, I'm pretty keen to get technical and see what the engine is consuming and what it wants more of. Rookie Posted April 10, 2016 Share Posted April 10, 2016 Go EFI, you will save yourself a bunch of heart ache and pain, the bonus is your car will make more power and use less fuel. +1 on LC2, but I would go spartan instead of slc pure plus if you are going EFI. Roman Posted April 10, 2016 Share Posted April 10, 2016 Most kits use the same Bosch sensors, there's an earlier one called 4.2 and a later design called 4.9 Make sure to get something with the 4.9 sensor because they last a lot longer.
