Abarth
I'm wanting to use the Link G4 to control the boost but I have no idea how to where/how to wire in the solenoid into the Link ECU. I've looked in the instruction manual and its a bit brief. Anyone got pic's or a guide of an install? The car is 93 WRX sti ra if that matters too btw. kpr
you can use pretty much use any spare aux out. choose boost solenoid for that aux output in pc link other wire to ignition on switched 12+
Abarth
Cheers. And is it the same for the switch controlling high and low boost; wire it into another aux out and then tell the Link it's a switch for boost control?
thegreatestben
I just made mine so that if you switched off the 12v it would revert to stock boost setting if that's your low boost ideal
kpr
gets slightly more tricky depending what you want to do. if you want to just go back to the wastegate pressure. easiest to put the switch in your solenoid wiring, as above otherwise you can connect to the link, to make it select a row in the boost map, can go as far as connecting a pot up to one of the analog inputs, to adjust to what ever you want. dudes car i tuned awhile back used a dash dimmer dial. was a bit fast and furious boosting along with one hand on the boost dial. or can use a rotary dial with some resistors to select a range of boost settings.
