michael
Alright, so about a month ago I was driving my skyline and the windscreen started fogging up. I wasn't far from home so I drove straight home parked my car up. Let it cool down then checked the water and it was low. So I started topping it up and found that it leaks out of the frost plug (onto the gearbox, which caused steam fogging up the windscreen) So I know that the frost plug needs replacing, as it has come out a bit. But im just wondering what would have caused that to happen? and if it would have caused any other damage to the engine?
Rookie
Old and rusty usually. Perhaps a lack of coolant and a frosty night? You probably haven't done any damage though.

0fnsiv
golden rule of thumb......do them all if they're steel if one has corroded, the others wont be far behind.....
Nominal
Might as well plan to replace all of them.
