pusherman Posted January 20, 2013 Share Posted January 20, 2013 hey, after taking my esky to kumeu ive decided i need to up grade to electronic ignition. im running blueprinted 1600 xflow with big valve head twin dellortos, ive seen the replacement dizzys on tardme http://www.trademe.co.nz/motors/car-parts-accessories/performance/electronics/auction-553012362.htm there is the kits that replace just the points/condensor has any body had any joy with them? also whats the benifits of vacuum advance? over non vacuum advance? Plus it's weights should be set to run properly with no vac. My clips that hold the cap on are all loose and tacky, if had the cap come off and move around a few times, this did my head in so i bought the real thing for $150 and is so much better quality construction etc!
