Mr.Mk1
Could you just go for a wander around pick-a-part with a tape measure/a template and look for something that will work? 4WD and larger vehicles will have bigger boots. ilikefire123
Yeah good point, I have a mate wrecking a big horn at present, I might give him a buzz.

ilikefire123
haha thanks (VH) but close! its a bit weird how the gearbox doesn't fit up nicely, I cut the hole in the tunnel the same size as the orginal gearbox boot. Do they factory manual ones have bigger tunnels or something?
ilikefire123
Or maybe the manual xmember is slightly different to the auto member? anyone know?
RUNAMUCK
As far as I know auto and manual Xmembers are all the same. VH you say? Odd that it has metric and imperial on the speedometer, and it has the dashboard crashpad from a car with round gauges too. Was it a factory 8? ilikefire123
You are right my friend. I have just used good bits me and mate have spare, shes kind of like J-LO she may have had aftermarket bits but damn shes hot. oh and I tried on the steels just cause i was bored. hard to gauge as no gaurd duh. but they seem to fit JUST. The CM is going well done heaps today. the gearbox is now in, but I had to remoove the dickie seat which kinda sucks but owell. Just have to connect driveshaft (brought new Ujoints to) put oil in the box and make sure everything else is done then road test.
RUNAMUCK
I see. Yeah most of them are made up of the best bits of their fallen brothers. I actually thought I was being clever saying it was a VJ, when it had no front panels on it. (Based on the VJ instrument cluster)

1ton
Dont know bout the boot but do you need one of these shifter humps when fitting a floorchange? http://www.ingear.co.nz/EcoShop/126/4-Speed-Shifter-Hump-VKU2885.aspx I know its for a 4 spd but would it give more clearance? Ingear also sell the plenum repair panels to suit CMs
