NicT
going 1J turbo with it? Its funny you should say this. I have enough bits of crap in my garage to do this on the cheap. Been talking about it with Kris. Might be a plan. Proberly end up taking eons though as no job, no money, uni crap.

kpr
get your favorite flat head screw driver, carefully undo the hose clamps on those air filters. remove filters, put clamps aside. then, proceed to throw the filters as far as you can, preferably in the direction of a large fire. tell martyn he just gained 20hp

Still have some touch up jobs to work through with Martyn, but she purs like a kitten at the moment. Real happy with how everything has turned out (regardless of the headaches) She lives again, just need to get the bonnet from his old mans haha

Hachi-ichi
After I change something on my car, my test drive route spans through manor park, the speed bumps along the way are fun too
NicT
That thing is so clean, love it. The filters not so much tho, haha. They sap power from the engine. But in terms of cost effectiveness they were ideal, and Martyn made the filter mounts out of carbon fiber. A few things were picked to keep costs down as Martyn has just started a family. So car running took priority vs Car looking sweet. But yes this car is super SUPER clean. In all honesty it is brand new. Every thing is brand new. (or at least referbished) Everything has new nolethane bushes in it, caster arms are T3, its just an awesome car to work on except for the overwhelming fear you could scratch or dent it. hachirokuGTV
its just an awesome car to work on except for the overwhelming fear you could scratch or dent it. Which you didn't. I would have been nice to chuck more money at it but its effectively a new motor and another 20kw on the previous smallport 4age so good gains have been made. The filters, well they might not be the greatest but open trumpets and wet days might not be so good either. I'm happy anyway so all good.
