bmxican
I have gotten sick of having an ugly grey primer hatch on my wagon as i smashed the window on my good rust free hatch and was wondering if anyone has a diy they could link me to or is there anyone in nelson that could possibly help me with this. . . Raizer
Little more info might be helpful, is it a glued in window or one with a rubber seal?
bmxican
Its a 1981 Mitsubishi sigma wagon hatch. I'll stick up a build thred with some photos in a moment, at a guess it will be a rubber seal.
durty
rubber seals are relatively easy http://www.classiccar.co.nz/articles/how-to-replace-a-windscreen-
durty
obviously a bit different if you want to reuse the rubber but so much nicer to do with a new rubber if they are available

Bling
Read the link he posted for how to do it. If you want to keep the seal obviously don't cut it. Just do the reverse of the install for the removal. Stick the string/rope inside in seal on the inside of the car. If yours is glued in, just remove all the old window and using the proper glue (auto shop will have it) glue the new screen in and put the chrome sections back on. Just remember how you remove the chrome sections and put it back together in the reverse order.
