Aaron
Hey guys, Im having some issues with the Starlet at the mo. I suspect the timing is off because it likes to stall randomly (mostly in the morning), but now it is doing it even after a good drive. Any suggestions would be helpful. Thanks in advance. phatt20
do the points, plugs, leads, filters etc.clean out the carb, check for vacuum leaks, then see how it runs.

Snoozin
Check around the inlet manifold gasket for leaks, mine ran like a mega bag of shit for a while with an inlet manifold leak. Now it just doesn't run at all
Ned
Intake manifold leaks are nice and easy to diagnose with a can of start-ya-bastard.
BlownCorona
^ to elaborate. have the engine running, then soak all around the intake manifold joins with the start ya bastard and see if the revs pick up or runs way better, if so, theres a leak. the start ya bastard seals it up for a few seconds. Aaron
Quick update. Thanks for all the help. Turns out it's an exhaust manifold leak.
