DB8-TypeR
Firestone are GC's from my experiance. Beaurepaires boss is a crook Havnt tried that newish place down Te Tahi Street yet though
johnnyfive
I bought a cheap pair of Wanli's for GSR from that TeTahi street place (12 months ago), were the cheapest in town at the time. We deal mainly with firestone for work, but even with my price the other place was cheaper.

l1ttle_d3vil
Firestone and Beaurepaires have been the most expensive every time I've priced tyres. Total Tyres (think they're the ones on Te Tahi St) are reasonably cheap I think, but I normally use Grants Automotive (opposite BP).
HighLUX
Ended up going to Mags and Tyres at the bottom of the gorge as everywhere else wanted moonbeams or didnt have the oddball size I needed. Was good service and reasonable price for a half decent tyre- had to LOL when the guy recommended a 245 to go on a 6.5' rim when I was pricing up a new set for the hilux.
