J-W-G
The forum that QCADTA linked is great very relevant to aus if anything its mostly aus! As for the zetec pretty much everything is off the shelf but costs heaps! But it kinda gives you a template to work from for your own fab

brendon
Yeah i changed my diff around to some unknown ratio a while back, highways were no fun... winding roads well thats another story Interesting shit on the diff man, i'm just going to start looking for a rn25. But now i'm thinking if i should look into a b1600 as well. What made you go for the b1600, did it just pop up so you bought it

As rn25 are like hens teeth i just thought of trucks around the same years then had a measure up of the diff and it was the same. B1600 i would think can take more power due to the semi floating hubs. Also makes it easier as the stud pattern is already on the hub aswell! Come to the next palmy meet and we'll talk escorts, on that note have you thought of a pinto turbo for your engine? Jase aka eke_zetec rwd has one. brendon
Just hit them up they have one b1600 overpriced though. $350, unknown ratio, no brakes and its open. Might get a more modern/common hilux Lsd diff, get it shortened and correct pcd's drilled I'll think about the pinto obv cheap, easy etc.......but i'm power hungry 250hp is the minimum i'm after really
J-W-G
Oh shit ouch! To shorten a hilux youd be looking at 800- 1500k its not too cheap ae. It will be hard to make 250hp and keep a car streetable aswell
brendon
why not put the 1.8BPT and running gear you've got in, if its capable of 300hp that'd be more than enough to put a smile on my face also any luck finding a lsd diff head?
