rebel county
Hi lads, I want to put the back seats into my Super Carry, the four mounting holes are a bit butched and I don't really have the tools to do the job. Can someone spare 30 mintes/ an hour to help me mount the seats? A box of bottles will be thrown in Slainte David

Beaver
I wouldnt use tec screws to hold seats down.... do the holes just go through the floor or into rails? can you see/get to the underside of the car where the holes are?

Yea, they do go through all the way (the floor). There is something in the way (piping or small tank) but might be able to get a hand around to it. Beaver
Im guessing there are nuts welded on the bottom (which used to be threaded) but are no longer usable then?

KKtrips
It sounds like more than half an hours work because you can't get to the bottom of the bolts by the sounds of it. Would need to check and see what is required. The bolts will likely be M6 or M8. If they are M6 then I should be able to help easily cos I have an M8 tap - M8 will be a bit more complicated to sort.. Just making new holes is not an option because then you would need to cert the seat mountings.
