Beaver
not too sure yet, quickly dummied up rims today with gaz before i left them at his and I dont think i can get away with any buldge past the edge of the rim, so might even go 175/50. will need serious low to pull that off though. maybe just track down some cheap ass 175/70s or something for now
KKtrips
13 or 14's? and how wide are your rims?
Beaver
13s. they are 6"
KKtrips
Ah I have nothing in 13's FYI - I have 6" rims (albeit 15's) and 185's on them and they fit really really nicely - 185-60-13's are fairly common and should be relatively cheap.. Beaver
yeh 185/60s are nice, and usually cheap. i really need to strip the tyres of the rims and size a few things up.
Mk1Mad
I got 175/50 Yokohama A539's at about $150 each fitted from Tony's. Had to get a quote from a place in Upper Hutt and then get them to beat it.. Was a bit of work but was happy with that price. Pretty hard to find any decent 175/50's for less that about $120 fitted. Beaver
oh sweet cheers, thats not too bad of a price. I sent then an online quote thingy but they rang back saying there would be problems fitting them to my car haha, will go visit them at some stage
Mk1Mad
Yeah, everyone else wanted around the $200 each mark, or said there were none in the country. I contacted Yokohama NZ directly and they had just received a new shipment. My rims are 5.5 so 6 should be sweet. Was from Tony's down on the waterfront.
