FR1SKI
Hey guys, Pretty new at all of this but I've just bought some 90mm guard flares to go on to my 1983 nissan/datsun sunny. There universal ones I got off trademe but im having an issue with the ends of them covering the door on the rear wheel arch. Just wanted to know what you guys have dont to pass this problem or how i can work around it. Is it possible to heat and mold them or chop the end parts off? I'll try get pics up asap of what i mean Cheers
dave123456789
I think i know what you mean, it overhangs a bit so door wont open when arch is on? depending on how much is covering door could make it two peice like evo 5s etc otherwise get some fibreglass matt and resin, chop the center out and reshape the arch so doesnt go over the door. FR1SKI
Yeah that's what happens, Sweet thanks mate cos I've seen a few of the two peice ones before but i dont cut the door ae, it will just sit with the door underneath it right? Cheers
dave123456789
Yea you just cut the flare where the door ends and attach that part to the door. could you chuck up a picture cause depending on car/how much it overhangs it could end up looking stupidly gay

BobbyBreeze
Flares arent really needed unless you are looking at running mega tyres. I have 13x8 -15 on the back of my b310 and they sit flush with the guards. These things have huge arches for a small car.
Guest
Seeing as you don't need them, how much would you like for the flares? PM me
FR1SKI
I was going to run a lower offset wheel hense buying flares, but idno 100 bucks if i was going to sell them im not too keen on selling them just yet. There 90mm aswell.
Brock-Lee
you will need a really wide and low offset wheel or some balloon as hell tyres to fill them 90mm flares out on a b310 . As said above, 13x8 with a neg 15 offset and its only needed the lip folded up. What wheels did you have in mind? throw up a project thread dude
