mjrstar
that may work out well, it seems to be "wanting" more timing at idle but doesn't need it higher in the rev range (feels like it may have too much timing up top)
tortron
may want to hook it up then and see if it improves. Should just ignore timing marks and tune off the vac readings
KKtrips
Without (hopefully) telling you how to suck eggs. You do know you can adjust Mini/1300 etc BJ's by shuffling shim sizes and requirement to replace should be very rare? I always kept a good range of shim thicknesses on a piece of old earth cable tied off the side of your parts shelf as my pappy did and my pappy's pappy in the old country etc... mjrstar
Yip good tip K-Trips for those still running running mini hubs, I'm running the early non vented metro gear which are a sealed non-shimmable balljoint.. I think I also have a stash of balljoint shims along with some diff shims for under the output shaft covers.. might just leave this link here so I remember which balljoint i need to buy next time. http://minisport.com.au/mini-metro-ball-joint-single
