I'd love to own that

Trigger
Hey man, getting a mean collection of Ex's now! just wondering with the silver one, if it has got disk rear end? Just noticed that the master cylinder/booster is different to normal Ex (double brake fluid holder) but that one is the same as Sigma? (x1 big b/f holder) cheers for any info Trigger
OSM Garage
Yeah ive got issues. No more Lancer's! Nah unfortunately its drum rear end. I think the master cylinder is the same as Sigma. Don't ask me why (4G62 possibly as apposed to 4G32/4G11). Drums on the rear look bigger then NZ assmebled Lancer's. Yet again, probably same as Sigma. Yet again probably because of CC rating. Trigger
True? Cos I "tried" running a Sigma booster/cylinder in my Ex (only a 1200 orginally) with Starion front brakes (bigger) but standard rear end (drums) and pedal was total shit! So I've put standy 1200 booster/cylinder back in again, still not great pedal tho Then I noticed your silver Ex had the bigger booster/cylinder setup, and was thinking the difference "might" be disk rear end? (guess not if yours is drum) I'm looking a getting a disk rear end soon (just an 8 bolt, non-LSD tho) but hoping that my Sigma booster/cylinder will work with that setup? cheers for getting back to me tho man, hope you still got x1 Lancer left? OSM Garage
Both my ex lancers run the bigger booster. The turbo lancer has disc rear end. I had to pull the guts out of the proportion valve? (I think) Doesn't really help your problem though. I think it was to allow fluid to come back to the cylinder? I forget now.
