samii
got a hold of a pinto a whilst back and was going to swap it straight fo my 1600 crossflow but i've decided to keep that in and rebuild/turbo the engine. i've seen jase's mark 1 pinto. and a few others, most of which are fuel injected. just wondering if a carby'd turbo setup is possible and th setup of one. thanks, samii. Josh
Pretty much you will wish you went fuel injected anyway, so may as well do it from the start

Gaz
is there any way to make a carb setup fuel injected? Yes, search for a post on here by a guy called Nismo Capri. He sells setups to do this. Gaz
coscapri
I had a suck through turbo system on a pinto a few years ago that went really well. The carb was a 45 sidedraft dellorto. I'm doing another at the moment but still trying to decide whether to go blow through carby or fuel injection.
My name is Russell
Welcom to OS You should start up a project thread, sounds sweet!
RT
you will do a carb turbo setup.. and after 12 months of mucking around trying to get it nice you'll give up and fuel inject it. much easier to fuel inject it first, then turbo it. carb turbo setups are a compromise at best, either smooth and reliable but not very powerful, or full on power with no drive-ability. do a profile search for nismo_capri and pm him. He sells cheap TBi injection kits for pintos which would be easy to turbo.
