Chris, there seams to be one extra spot on you lawn that needs an escort...

Got a new condensor to try tonight, if it is the right one as there were quite a few different ones.

Haha. Yeah, rear brakes were pretty much perfect. We're binding a bit on the way there tho so maybe a little tight. They will wear in pretty quick.

Got the seats from some guy in Tauranga who contacted me through my trademe ad. Good that they are black and pretty good condition as I shouldn't have any trouble with WOF's. Just got to find a blowtorch to bend the two other brackets into shape.

Time to do wing/scuttle repairs. You cutting your tunnel out tonight? I could bring around my grinder and thin cutting discs to make it easier. Ill drill out spotwelds/start on my wing if it stops raining....

Sweet. Let me know when. Probably easier to do the whole thing for extra room. Would be cool also to retain the strengthing ribs off the original tunnel top and weld them into the new one. With the size of sheet steel we have also may be easier to make it in three parts. Hmm, this should be in your build thread...

Dont wait 28 days to go for recheck. Just go for one now. Before the 28 days means NOTHING will be noted on the system. After the 28 days notes will apear. They arnt very detailed notes tho.

28 days = Saturday. Probably wont have seats by then. Have been for one recheck but he wants more indepth rust work on pillar. (Got a different guy from the first test...) Passed on brakes, tyres, other rust. Real busy at work this week and weather is sh** for fixing rust outdoor. Going to try and get the rust fixed by the weekend if I can get the time but otherwise will need recheck anyway.

Got any photos of your sweet fold ford rails you made, staring to make mine similar so far have chapped legs of sliders and have them sitting on the folded up arms. Got any of that time / bar left? i found some bar but not sure on what i could sleeve it with.

Grab welder when ever you want boe iv left the fuel line so can do that on welder downtime :lol:

... was going to say you should jack car up nice n high to make working on easyer but you are in desperate need of lowering

Got more photos of hinges on home computer so will email through. There should be some bar and tube left over somewhere that I did my hinges with. You just need to file out the raised seam inside the tube.

Will steal welder this week for bolt holes in the floor. Also need to fold up some steal to fix the leading edge of the bonnet.

Easy access right now under car, I can slide all the way under without any jack.... Lowering will be done once WOF'd.

Think I would rather keep the 1600 (I put up with a 850cc in my mini!) for now and build up a Zetec to go in it instead of a pinto. I suppose tho that if you got it certed for a pinto (2L) then nothing would change on you cert tag and you could just replace it with a zetec without the need for a new cert.

True about beating Jute, I txt her when I go out to sand to tell her to get onto hers.. don't think it motovates her much. You Better get her on to it Gaz so you can have your shed back!!
