mjrstar
Mate had an EB1 AAAAGGGGEEEESSS ago before people spoke of VTEC and i'm reasonably certain his had an gen 1 accord 1500 or 1600 motor from a similar era. Sorry no REAL details on it other than the fact that even 4 up it would haul ass.. I believe that it was a reasonably straight forward swap?? Probably something similar to this expired listing? http://www.trademe.co.nz/Browse/Listing ... 31&ed=true Sorry for useless post containing no real facts?? Yeah gen 1 accord/prelude 1600's (EK engine designation I think) maybe even an 1800 go in without too much trouble although make them a little nose heavy apparantly. other options - city turbo engine - 1335cc from a gen 2, or get the 1335cc crank from a gen 2, 4x pistons from a honda goldwing motorcycle, ported EB2 head, mugen cam + quad mikuni flatside bike carbs = win. civic_zr
Dat180 are you running the eb1 or en1 carb? The en1 /eb3 motor combo should go much better, the en1 doesn't like breathing through the eb1 carby/exhaust though which could be causing the flatness.
