Ogre
i was either gonna go 40mm webers/dels or bike carbs. They look cheaper and maybe better....
mikuni
by anychance mikuni does the guy you got you carbs off sell them regularly? I don't think so man. To be honest it was from aussie and loceda was using my trademe account and bought them accidently about 6 months ago because we thought they'd be more than $300 haha. Most cunts on tradme were asking stupid money for carbs. I was looking into dellortos/webbers/mikuni's and people were asking $400+ even for crap solex mikunis and up to about $1600 for mint dcoes etc. People were even asking big money for bike carbs so I'm happy with that price. i was either gonna go 40mm webers/dels or bike carbs. They look cheaper and maybe better.... I read a really detailed article on them that I posted in the 'bike carbs' thread. Its good and bassically says they probably won't be any better than the likes of delortos/webbers but will be cheaper, easier to setup/tune/make a manifold for and look way cooler. Plus theres four of them, which is really cool
CaMpylobacter
fuk, i fully think im gonna run these cunts in the LA if i can get them to fit.... surely will. so easy to make a mackin' manifold. I'm not going carb. injection = best/cheapest option for me. also, dcoes are not too bad for price this weeek on tardme. 2 sets for around 900 a set. one's sold. 45s = $$$
V8Pete
I'm not going carb. injection = best/cheapest option for me. http://www.trademe.co.nz/Browse/Listing ... d=97967124 I'm tempted, but I've already got 3 2 are incomplete though, and that's the cheapest yet and comes with a 20V paper weight. Lol - I bought that $60 set - fucker didn't include airbox, trumpets, or throttle cable hookup thing. Are you Mi16 ing the 205? Have you thought of just fixing up the 405 Mi16, selling it, then using the profit to buy just a motor? Would seem a waste of a body if it's not rough as guts. CaMpylobacter
will be better off tearing it down i reckon have thought of that but Mi16s don't seem to be shifting for any sort of moeny that would make it worthwhile.
