J2Racing
Becarefull who you buy your bushs from there is a guy on trade me selling bushs and engine mounts at about double the retail price. He talks them up alot but I think he's full of shit. I worked in out parts for more than 10yrs. For BNT and REPCO I never saw a bush come back. I Use REPCO engine mounts on my V6 which are the same as escourt and cortina mounts. Had no worries with them. This guy was selling them for about 3X what they retail for. Guest WESTCORT
yea that was the idea give it a lil hone and get some new rings for it. save a few hundy. then balance all the internals. will i need new pins? and do yous reckon ill have to get the pistons off the rods for the guys to balance? chur
Gaz
Nah wont need new pins. They prob wont balance the pistons for the price I was telling you before. Pistons are ok sweet from go anyways. Crank, all pullies, clutchcoverr, flywheel, umm, thats prolly it.
nismo.capri
pulled the head off my 205 today. the bores and pistons look absolutly mint, think i might just get new rings and forget about boring it out at all. whats your thoughts? I always get it measured before I hone them, if the bores are oval or wider at one part honing wont fix it.
