Im thinking about buying this for my escort, though im not convinced it'll be as easy as the auction states. Has anyone else fitted sierra discs on the back of their esky, or know whats involved?

Cheers

Matt

he wants over $100 for them. Im thinking like $150+ I wouldnt buy them for any more than 150max. Also you will need a brake bias valve thingie wont ya. so the back isnt better than front.

Anyone lese think thats expensive?

i read an article a while ago about putting sierra disks onto a lotus 7 type car. he had 2 sets of calipers on each disk, one hydraulic foot brake and one handbrake.

I was talking to a guy who races escorts the other day and he was saying that all his mates were going back to drum rear end because of when they stop racing and pull the handbrake on, the brake melts the disk to the pads due to the heat

id say just stick with the drums if you ask me ive heard some pretty nasty things about people doing burnouts with rear disk's and the pad wearing right down and then putting big groves in the disk costly to replace just go bigger drums if you want better brakeing tho im no expert
